Litllepip, Orb 8, Single Pegasus Project by CalamityB31 Litllepip, Orb 8, Single Pegasus Project by CalamityB31
Okay everypony, here is Littlepip just before she link herself into the Single Pegasus Project. Now, ah remember crying three times this chapter. Ah know that there is a lot of things here that isn't exactly correct. First, I didn't include the Ministry mares that LP had with her, secondly, in the book, it describes the mainframe as "webbed with cables from the roof and the bottom" -> Now, even though it says that, Ah didn't have enough time (1/2 day extra) to render 36 cyber cables. Ah hope everypony won't mind my laziness.

You can't really see that well, but Ah would definitely recommend you to zoom in on Littlepip and get a good view of her barding and Fused Pipbuck. Ah spent a full hour just for those, so please don't miss it ^^

Anyho, ah hope you enjoy this, and Ah'll be working on Steelhooves next (Sorry to those ponies, ah promised Ah would've done Steelhooves after Xenith, but, Ah'm still drawing concepts for Steelhooves, so hopefully Ah'll have it up next weekend. ^^/)

The true measure of a hero is what she would do to save the world, even if it meant an end to her own hopes.

Amazing and depressing ending. Although it did say that Pip and Homage were able to meet up or something sometimes in the epilogue so at least there is that. I really do not want Blackjack to die at the end of Project Horizons though. She has been through so much more than Littlepip did and I really want a happy ending for her.

I feel you. Though, I really think PH should start ending. It's been stretched out waaaaay too long. It's starting to feel like a One Piece anime. It goes on endlessly with no end in sight.

Sorry, I should have been more explicit. ^^; Do you know a good place to get this spinoff series you've been talking about? I've already read the original book, and it occupies a permanent place in my library. :D

Spoiler.

I've actually asked Kkat, the author of Fallout: Equestria, about this. I was wondering if Littlepip was permanently locked inside the pod. She responded and told me in fact that as long as Littlepip remains in the hub, she can leave the life support pod. So, in fact, Homage and Littlepip can still continue their relationship and all of her friends can still visit her!

I feel this makes the end a lot more happy. Fo:E was the best thing I've ever read. Now I'm reading Project Horizons; it's great.

By the way, any big Fo:E fans should know that there is a massive undertaking to create a full, standalone game in Kkat's universe going on over at theovermare.com. They are making excellent progress and just released their first gameplay reveal, showcasing unicorn telekinesis.

Personally, I cannot WAIT to get my hands on it. It's being completely independently developed and coded by a team of over a hundred extremely talented people. I would HIGHLY reccomend going to check it out.

Cheers!

Wow, that's for all the info. I actually worked with the Overmare (back then, they were called Equestria Softworks I think) -> But then I quit the team due to not enough time to meet deadlines.

But I was mostly upset when the story was over...Like finishing a really, really good game, watching the credits and thinking "so...what now?" :/

Mmmmmmm. I feel exactly the same way. After I finished, well, more like picked myself up off the floor, I let out this huge sigh and thought: "Never going to get to read something like that again."

Playing Fallout seems to help aliviate the symptoms a bit. I find reading Projects Horizons to be almost as enjoyable as the original was.

Of course, it's the GAME that I really want...

In afterword Calamity says that she and Homage is celabrating Homages birthday in the Celestia hub. It's a good ending knowing that she is alright and get her mare to spend time every now and then. Spoiler.

This was the worst kind of ending, the twist ending that raises so many questions and answers jack shit. Also it was so predictable and anti-climatic. Well at least it didn't end with Littlepip having to choose between red, blue or green.....if that was the case it would been even worst. Great story terrible ending.

It wasn't that sad, I mean if you played Fallout 3 you could probably work out the ending just from this simple comparison:
Stable 2 = Vault 101.

I mean just go and look at Fallout 3's story (and Fallout 1's if you want to know where the alicorn and goddess came from) and you can probably see alot of places where Fallout: Equestria used Fallout 3's story.

I usualy play Fallout New Vegas. well in fact thats my first fallout...
I read that story without playing Fallout 3 (cant lunch because of errors) but i know one of the endings (when your father die)
and it wastn't that sad as LittlePip sacrifice. When i was reading that story I identify with she, so for me, that was blow to the heart... :(

the dad dies regardless of your choices it is part of the game. The good ending and somewhat good but evil contingency ending both end with your character dying.

But I disagree you can't judge the experience of the dad dying without playing the game it is like watching bioshock infinites ending on youtube unless you've played bioshock infinite all the way through.

See because you haven't played fallout 3 we have no common grounds and what you say now is just a bunch of fanboy shit.

No what I'am saying is that because you haven't actually played 3 you can't really preach that this story's ending was very emotional and that the game's wasn't. Honestly missions in GTA IV, Sleeping Dogs and Saints Row have more emotion than some of the chapters and the ending in FO: E. Hell even NFS the Run had better emotion then this story at some times. But this is my opinion and we are entitled to our own opinions.

And on a side note I know my shit when it comes to fallout. I've played and beaten (platinumed on the ps3 games) Fallout 1, 2, Tactics, 3 and New Vegas. And honestly the way the story was set up was as if littlepip was going to be the character gamers make after beating the game at least 5 times so by then they have this perfect and roided character in mind.

I just think at times the story was a bit weird such as the memory orbs, the statuettes mind control, littlepip not willing to question the influence that the statues had or the fact that each memember in her party were drugged up psychopaths who were gods at what they specialised at.

Also the epilogue was pretty weak.

I do agree with you, to some extent. for me the Ending to FOE was kind of a mixed bag, it was sad, yet it left a whole bunch of things unanswered. As for the game Fallout 3, I've played it multiple times and consider it to be my favorite game of all time, It was sad when the dad died, but the ending felt meh to me because I had the brotherhood of steel DLC.

What I would've loved to see in the game is making more difficult choices (kind of like Talltales Walking Dead kind of choices). To me most of the choices made is done just to be either an Angel or an Asshole I think the only time it got close to making hard choices was with the Pit DLC. in FOE, Littlepip goes through all this shit, meets people who she befriends and loves, and is willing to make the ultimate sacrifice of never physically being with her loved ones and friends just to save the wasteland, That's the sad thing about this fan fic, but there are so many unanswered questions and it was Anti-Climactic, I can see why you think the ending sucks.

Fallout Equestria is one of the best fanfics I've read and I'm currently on my second readthrough. This is some amazing artwork, and really captures the last bit of sorrow Littlepip has before she sacrifices herself. Great work.
